I am now beta testing Max4Live!!! My mind is exploding with ideas! I have created a basic sequencer using the M4L Live.Step object. The combination of the M4L patch and a Lemur template allows you to create interesting sequences in realtime on the lemur, that is then sent to the live object. I will post a screencast as soon as i debug it.

Original post blogged on b2evolution.

Working with the Lemur

I have really come up with some interesting ways to enhance my work flow by utilizing the Lemur. I created an interface for my Nord Lead 2 rack and defined a controls object that utilizes balls attached to a x grid. I defined physics associated to the balls and they have a control of gravity and speed. I created to groups of ADSR envelopes that are attached to the containers that have 4 balls in them. Now when i touch and move one of the balls, the move based on the gravity settings.

This allows me to control functions on my external instruments in an automated fashion. The next thing I am thinking of doing is scaling the speed based on BPM by using rewire with my DAW.

Stay tuned... Some interesting Lemur templates should come out of this.

Original post blogged on b2evolution.

I added basic saving and restoring of settings. The next release will automatically save your previous state. I thought i had it working this release. I created the app and it didn't work the same. oh well... Next revision. For this release, I recommend creating a directory of presets and just saving and restoring from that directory. Future revisions will be much more elegant. Look for a lot more to come!

Same location as before

no Windows release yet.

Simple CircleOSC is a application that can connect your iPhone with TouchOSC to the great synthesizer application called Circle. This will allow you to control various parameters in Circle from the controls build into TouchOSC. Follow the instructions below to get started. Please feel free to comment.

Config:

In Circle: go to Control-> OSC port and set it to 5123

in Touch OSC:

Host: set to your computers IP address
Port(outgoing): set to 8000

Performance:

Stay Connected: should be on

Under Layouts, make sure you select simple.

Click, "Done"

You should be set. Have fun and feel free to comment and add suggestions.
